Configuration Extractor for SolidWorks

This utility runs through a part or assembly that has configurations and automatically saves them to individual files.  This allows you to develop designs as a table or family of parts, and then separate them easily for the rest of their design life.

The configuration extractor is added as a command under the Tools menu in SolidWorks.  You have the option of deleting the configurations out of the parent model automatically, or to leave them.
