Pro/DIAGRAM
Pro/DIAGRAM is a module that links to
Pro/CABLE and Pro/HARNESS to provide cable and harness design.
Pro/DIAGRAM is a system for the design of harness circuit diagrams that are then
used to control the routing of virtual cables through a design model. Pro/DIAGRAM uses
wire data and connector information to develop the circuit diagram and it feeds this information to
Pro/CABLE to insure that the wires that are run are the correct gauge, the correct color,
and that the proper pins are connected. Changes made at the diagram are then
automatically reflected in the cable model. This propagates downstream to
harness
drawings and nail board layouts, allowing control of the engineering data from a single
point, and making the diagram the controlling portion of the design.
